About this Spider-Man

In Amazing Spider-Man #698–700 (2012), a dying Doctor Octopus swapped minds with Peter Parker and took over his life. As the Superior Spider-Man, written by Dan Slott and drawn by Ryan Stegman, Giuseppe Camuncoli and others, Otto set out to be a better hero than Peter: he built a robot army, used lethal force and ran Spider-Man like a business. He returned to the role in 2018 and again in 2023, drawn by Mark Bagley.
