Fred Myers grew up in Australia and pitched baseball in America until he was banned from the game for taking bribes. He turned his pitching arm into a weapon as Boomerang, an assassin with a belt of trick boomerangs and jet boots, and debuted in Tales to Astonish #81 (1966) against the Hulk. He became one of Spider-Man's most frequent foes and led the comic crew of The Superior Foes of Spider-Man (2013). He later became Peter Parker's roommate, much to Peter's dismay.
