Who is God Emperor Doom?
When the multiverse ended in Secret Wars (2015), Victor von Doom, with Doctor Strange and the Molecule Man, killed the Beyonders, the godlike beings who were destroying it, and took their power. With it he pulled the wreckage of a hundred dying universes together into Battleworld, rewrote its history and ruled it as God Emperor Doom for eight years, with Sue Storm as his wife and Franklin and Valeria as his children. He killed Thanos with ease and crushed the Infinity Gauntlet in his hand. Faced at last with Reed Richards, he admitted that Reed would have done better with the power, and it passed to Reed.
First appearance: Secret Wars #2 (2015).
